Michelle Sneed is a veteran television and film production executive with over 12 years of expertise spanning the scripted and unscripted television arenas. 

As the President of Production and Development for Tyler Perry Studios, Sneed oversees all film, television and digital media projects for the studio.  Additionally, she serves as an executive producer on the BET and BET+ series “The Oval,” “Sistas,” and “Ruthless,” “Bruh,” the Netflix film “A Fall From Grace” and the Nickelodeon series “Young Dylan.”  Sneed was recently included on The Hollywood Reporter’s 2019 Women In Entertainment Power 100 list.

Prior to her role as President of the studio, she served as a Director of Physical Production for BET Networks (a subsidiary of Viacom Media Networks) from 2015 to 2018. A decisive team player striking the balance between creative and production throughout all phases of content development and promotion, Sneed contributed over 100 packages of short-form programming including original docu-series, multiple television specials and tentpole events during her tenure at the network. 

Sneed has been affiliated with Tyler Perry Studios for over 10 years.  As a member of the studio’s original production management team (at Greenbriar), she produced over 400 episodes of television content.

Recently named A graduate of Michigan State University, Sneed currently resides in Atlanta, Georgia.


Tyler Perry Studios is a state-of-the art film and television production facility founded in 2006 by actor, producer, filmmaker, playwright and philanthropist Tyler Perry.  Located in Atlanta, Georgia on the historic grounds of the former Fort McPherson army base, the new 330-acre campus is one of the largest production studios in the country.  It boasts a variety of shooting locations including 40 buildings on the national register of historic places, 11 purpose-built sound stages, 200 acres of green space and an expansive backlot.
