Flame Distribution Heads to NATPE Budapest (Meeting Tables: 17&23)

Flame Distribution has announced a slew of sales deals for its titles and will be attending this year’s NATPE Budapest to offer its latest acquisitions to broadcasters in Central and Eastern Europe.

Recent sales deals include a factual programming package deal with Fokus TV in Poland. Titles include Prospero Productions reality hit series Outback Pilots (8 x 60’) & Railroad Australia (8 x 60’) and Wildbear Entertainment history series Killing Machines (8 x 50’) launched at MIPTV in April. Railroad Australia has also been acquired by Discovery Spain.

HRT in Croatia has acquired the nature series The Secret World of Trees (10 x 30’), in April, and History of Tanks (1 x50’) whilst history documentary Titanic’s Tragic Twin (1 x 60’), wildlife series Bahama Blue (6 x 46’) and adventure doc 47 Below (1 x 51’), was acquired by Czech FTV Prima.

In other European territories, SVT in Sweden has acquired the second series of the Award-winning science title Redesign My Brain (3 x 60’) whilst UKTV acquired Canadian documentary I, Pedophile (1 x 51’).
