In 2009, Allen became the first television entrepreneur to own and launch a portfolio of six 24-Hour HD television networks simultaneously. These six networks are: PETS.TV, COMEDY.TV, RECIPE.TV, CARS.TV, ES.TV, and MYDESTINATION.TV    In 2012, Entertainment Studios launched its seventh HD cable network, JUSTICECENTRAL.TV, a 24/7 HD legal and news cable television network whose programming features the biggest names in law dedicated to courtroom shows, legal news, and a broad range of law-oriented original content. In 2015, Allen further extended the scope of Entertainment Studios with the purchase of Freestyle Releasing, now called Entertainment Studios Motion Pictures, a full-service, theatrical motion picture distribution company that specializes in representing independent companies, major studios, and mini-major studios for the purpose of exhibiting their films as first-class theatrical releases. ESMP released 2017’s highest-grossing independent movie, the shark thriller 47 METERS DOWN, which has grossed over $44.3 million to date. In 2018, ESMP also released the critically-acclaimed and commercially successful Western HOSTILES and the historic mystery-thriller CHAPPAQUIDDICK. With an ever-expanding library of over 5,000 hours of wholly-owned content, Entertainment Studios provides programming to traditional and emerging distribution platforms, including 1,400 television stations across the U.S.  The company mission is to provide quality programming to television viewers, online users, and Fortune 500 advertising partners.

Allen’s interest in show business began during his childhood, when he would accompany his mother to NBC studios in Burbank where she worked as a publicist.  Free to roam the sound stages, Allen would sneak onto THE TONIGHT SHOW set, sit behind Johnny Carson’s desk and play talkshow host.  But he took it one step further, and at age 14, Allen put together his first stand-up routine and began appearing on amateur night at comedy clubs throughout the Los Angeles area.  At one performance, comedian Jimmy Walker saw the act and was so impressed that he invited the 14 year-old comedian to join his comedy writing team along side promising young comedians Jay Leno and David Letterman.  At age 18, Allen made his national television debut on THE TONIGHT SHOW STARRING JOHNNY CARSON.  Allen holds the distinction of being the youngest standup comedian ever to have performed on the show.  Watching Allen’s network television debut werethe producers of NBC’s REAL PEOPLE, who were so taken with his comfortable, relaxed style that they made him an offer the very next day to co-host what would become the first reality-based program ever broadcast on television.  He accepted, and REAL PEOPLE dominated the network’s Wednesday night prime-time for five years.

Allen’s experience hosting REAL PEOPLE was his training ground for the business of television.  His gig was to travel thenation with a crew and shoot segments profiling real people across America’s heartland.  So while he was getting his feet wet as a television personality, he was also learning the ins and outs of television production.  The experience also prepared him to take on the business of advertising and syndication, which he learned in the trenches by personally calling station owners, programming directors and advertisers, one-by-one and market-by-market.

For many years, Mr.Allen was the annual host of the National Multiple Sclerosis Society’s Annual “Dinner of Champions.”  This annual event is sponsored by and benefits the Southern California Chapter of the National MS Society. It raises funds that support MS research worldwide, as well as vital programs and services for people living with MS and their families.

Most recently, Mr. Allen was presented with the 2014 Children’s Inspiration Award from the Los Angeles charitable organization A Place Called Home.  The Children’s Inspiration Award is presented to an individual whosevision is large enough to embrace the “impossible” and whose tenacity is great enough to achieve things that “can’t be done.” The recipient has overcome hardships and obstacles, and transcended in ways that serve as an inspiration.  In2017, Byron Allen launched his company’s first annual Oscar Gala, an Academy Awards viewing party held at the Beverly Hills Montage Hotel on Oscar night –which raised over $1 million for Children’s Hospital Los Angeles.  From humble beginnings himself, Byron Allen has made good and made a difference!

Henry Winkler

Henry WinklerHenry Winkler co-stars as acting teacher Gene Cousineau on the hit HBO dark comedy, “Barry.” This past September, he was the recipient of the Emmy Award for Best Supporting Actor in a Comedy for his role on the series which stars Emmy-award winning actor, Bill Hader.

Winkler has enjoyed over four decades of success in Hollywood and continues to be in demand as an actor, producer and director.

A 1973 audition in Los Angeles forever changed the life of the Yale School of Drama graduate when producer Garry Marshall and Tom Miller cast Winkler in the iconic role of Arthur Fonzarelli, aka “The Fonz,” in the TV series “Happy Days.’ During his 10 years on the popular sitcom, he won two Golden Globe Awards, was nominated three times for an Emmy Award and was also honored with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. Both his famous leather jacket and Fonzie’s lunch box became part of an exhibit at the Smithsonian Museum in 1980.

In recent years, Winkler appeared in a number of series, including “Arrested Development,” “Children’s Hospital,” “Royal Pains.” “New Girl” and “Parks and Recreation.” He also starred and co-executive produced the NBC Reality travel series, “Better Late Than Never,” with William Shatner, Terry Bradshaw, George Foreman and Jeff Dye and is an executive producer of the new “MacGyver” series currently airing its second season on CBS.

His guest role in the ABC series “The Practice” earned him an Emmy Award nomination and he also starred in the CBS sitcom “Out of Practice.” His guest-star roles have included “Numb3rs,” “The Bob Newhart Show,” “Third Watch,” “Crossing Jordan” and “Law and Order: SVU,” and the Hallmark Channel holiday movie “The Most Wonderful Time of the Year.” He has lent his voice to such shows as “All Hail King Julien” on Netflix, “South Park,” “King of the Hill,” “Family Guy,” “The Simpsons” and “Clifford: The Puppy Years,” for which he received a Daytime Emmy Award.

On the big screen, Winkler starred in “Night Shift,” “Here Comes the Boom,” “The Waterboy,” “Click,” “The Lords of Flatbush,” “Heroes,” “Holes” and “Scream.”

Behind the scenes he has also made his mark as a producer and director. Winkler has executive produced or produced TV series and specials for 19 years, including “MacGyver,” “So Weird,” “Mr. Sunshine,” “Sightings,” “A Family Again,” “All Kids Do It,” (which won him a Daytime Emmy Award), “Ryan’s Four,” “Scandal Sheet” and the ABC documentary “Who Are the DeBolts and Where Did They Get 19 Kids?,” which won the prestigious Humanitas Prize.

He also directed several movies, including “Memories of Me,” starring Billy Crystal and the late Alan King and “Cop and a Half,” starring the late Burt Reynolds. On stage, Winkler has appeared on Broadway in “Neil Simon’s The Dinner Party” (with the late John Ritter) and “The Performers.”

Winkler has always been concerned about the quality of children’s television programming. He has produced countless worthwhile projects for young audiences, including “Happily Ever After” for PBS and its sequel, “Two Daddies to Love Me.” Additional specials include “Run, Don’t Walk,” and “All the Kids Do It,” which was about teenage drunk driving which he also directed.

Winkler is also a New York Times best-selling author. His first book, “Niagara Falls or Does It? Hank Zipzer the World’s Greatest Under-Achiever,” became a bestseller. The books were inspired by Winkler’s struggle throughout his education due to his learning challenges.

To date, he and his co-author, Lin Oliver, have written 34 children’s novels. Their latest is HERE’S HANK: Robot on the Loose. All the books are sold in bookstores and online across the United States and have been published around the world in seven languages, with more than 4 million copies sold.

Winkler has always believed in helping others and is especially passionate about children.

He has been a featured speaker at WE Day Celebrations promoting education and service for students. His work also includes Honorary Chairman of United Friends of the Children; Founding Member of the Children’s Action Network; the first National Honorary Chairman of the Epilepsy Foundation of America; National Chairman of the annual Toys for Tots campaign; the National Committee for Arts for the Handicapped; the Special Olympics; and the Los Angeles Music Center’s Very Special Arts Festival for children who are physically challenged; as well as participating in numerous teenage alcohol and drug abuse programs.

He has received a number of accolades from a variety of prestigious organizations, including B’nai B’rith, Peace Prize by the United Nations and Women in Film’s Norma Zarky Humanitarian Award, presented to both Henry and his wife, Stacey, for their tireless efforts and devotion to the “improvement of the human condition.”

He also received the Chevallier de l’Ordre des Artes et Lettres, the French government’s highest honor. In addition, Winkler was one of 10 individuals honored by AARP with their 2010 Inspire Award. In 2011 he was awarded the Honorary Officer of the Most Excellent Order of the British Empire (OBE) from the Queen of England in recognition of his services to children with dyslexia and special education needs.

Of all the titles he has received, the ones he relishes most are husband, father and grandfather. Winkler and his wife have three children, Jed, Zoe and Max, and five grandchildren. They reside in Los Angeles.

Robert Greenblatt

Robert Greenblatt

Robert Greenblatt joined NBCUniversal in January 2011 as Chairman, NBC Entertainment and reports to NBCU Chief Executive Officer Steve Burke. In this role, Greenblatt is responsible for all aspects of primetime, late night and scripted daytime programming for the network, including business affairs, marketing, communications, scheduling, West Coast research and digital operations.

Under Greenblatt’s leadership, NBC has risen to the top of the television industry after a decade in last place, winning the 52-week season for the last five consecutive years in primetime’s key demographic of adults 18-49 and poised to add its first total-viewer crown in 16 years when final 2017-18 results are tallied. NBC has won six consecutive fourth quarters and eight consecutive summers in adults 18-49 and the network’s powerful primetime lineup has been reinforced in recent seasons by such popular and critically acclaimed additions as “This Is Us,” the revival of “Will & Grace,” “World of Dance” “The Good Place” and “Ellen’s Game of Games.

In addition, Greenblatt oversees Universal Television and Universal Television Alternative Studios, which combined currently produce nearly 40 scripted series as well as late-night and reality programs for a variety of networks and digital platforms. In addition to shows for NBC primetime, such as the successful “Chicago” franchise, the critically acclaimed comedies “Superstore” “Brooklyn Nine-Nine” and all of NBC’s hit late-night lineup, Universal Television also produces the prestigious non-NBC comedies: the the Emmy-winning “Master of None” and the Emmy-nominated “Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt for Netflix. Off-network dramas also include “The Bold Type” on Freeform and the upcoming “Magnum P.I.” for CBS.

A Golden Globe Award-winning television producer (“Six Feet Under”) and Tony Award-winning Broadway producer (“A Gentleman’s Guide to Love and Murder”), Greenblatt has led NBC to be at the forefront of live television events. He broke in 2013 with the broadcast of NBC’s musical “The Sound of Music Live!,” which attracted 21 million viewers and has become a yearly tradition that is now being replicated by other networks. NBC presented “The Wiz Live!” in 2015 and “Hairspray Live!” in 2016, and has on tap for 2018 “Jesus Christ Superstar Live in Concert” starring John Legend and a live production of Aaron Sorkin’s play “A Few Good Men.”

Greenblatt’s relationship with Dolly Parton led to him producing the Tony-nominated Broadway hit “9 to 5: The Musical” with a score by Parton, as well as NBC’s 2015 broadcast of her telefilm “Dolly Parton’s Coat of Many Colors.” The TV movie garnered an audience of 16 million, making it the most-watched film on broadcast or cable in nearly seven years, and led to the sequel “Dolly Parton’s Christmas of Many Colors: Circle of Love,” which debuted in 2016.

Prior to NBC, Greenblatt was President of Entertainment for Showtime Networks, Inc., where he supervised a slate of original programming that dramatically altered the Showtime brand and re-positioned the company as a leader in premium cable television. Over his seven-year tenure, the audience subscription base increased 52% – to a then-record high of 19 million subscribers in 2010 – and profitability more than doubled.

At Showtime, he was responsible for such hits as “Weeds,” “Dexter,” “Shameless,” “The Borgias,” “Episodes,” “Nurse Jackie,” “The Tudors,” “Californication,” “United States of Tara,” “The Big C,” “This American Life” and “Tracey Ullman’s State of the Union,” among others. These shows and their actors were honored with multiple Golden Globe, Emmy, AFI, SAG, DGA, PGA, WGA and Peabody Awards; and in 2010 alone, they collectively garnered a record-breaking number of both Emmy and Golden Globe nominations for the network.

Prior to Showtime, Greenblatt was an award-winning producer of over a dozen series on various networks. The highlight of those was “Six Feet Under,” for which he was awarded the 2002 Golden Globe Award for Best Drama Series. It also garnered dozens of Emmy nominations, including four for Outstanding Drama Series, and it won the 2003 Producers Guild Award, three GLAAD Media Awards and the George Foster Peabody Award. He also produced two Emmy-nominated miniseries: “Elvis” for CBS (starring Golden Globe winner Jonathan Rhys Meyers) and Gregory Nava’s “American Family” for PBS.

Greenblatt began his television career at the Fox Broadcasting Company where he ran primetime programming from 1992-97 and developed such memorable shows as the original “Beverly Hills, 90210” and “Melrose Place,” “The X-Files,” “Party of Five,” “Ally McBeal” and “King of the Hill,” in addition to the pilots for “The Sopranos” and “Dawson’s Creek.”

In 2011, he received the Stephen F. Kolzak Award from GLAAD, and in 2016 Greenblatt was presented with The Actors Fund Medal of Honor. Greenblatt is a member of the Broadway League of Theatrical Producers, the Academy of Television Arts and Sciences, and the Producers Guild of America.

Description

Transform intense anticipation into reality. Fontainebleau Miami Beach introduces a new culture after a $1 billion renovation and expansion. One that blurs the line between the glamour of the past, the luxury of the present and a new vision for tomorrow. Defined by inspiration, expression and engagement it is a new culture in which anticipation exists from first awareness to long after departure. Participation allows guests to tailor experiences to their own desires. Technology encourages guests to share unique memories and create a perpetual experience. Emerging from the original vision of legendary architect Morris Lapidus whose daring designs epitomized a concept of setting a stage where everyone who enters will play their part, Fontainebleau Miami Beach combines striking design, contemporary art, music, fashion and technology in to a vibrant new kind of immersive guest experience.

Fronting the Atlantic Ocean, the resort features the iconic Chateau building opened in 1945, two new towers, 11 restaurants and lounges, a 40,000 square-foot spa and a dramatic, oceanfront poolscape featuring a free-form pool shaped as a modern, reinterpretation of Lapidus’ signature bow-tie design.

In re-envisioning the resort, a team of eight international architects, designers and project managers was assembled to infuse the space with a modern sense of style and sophistication. From its public spaces, lobby and highly-stylized restaurants to its guest rooms, spa and pool, the resort will sparkle with an intoxicating mix of old and new. Painstakingly, the design team preserved or recreated many of Lapidus historical design elements  including the circular ceilings, bow-tie design motifs and famed Stairway to Nowhere.
