Giide
Allison Kent-Smith is a writer, speaker and founder and CEO of Giide, an interactive audio company.
She has been leading digital transformation and talent development efforts for the past fifteen years working with global clients such as MasterCard, SCJohnson, Ogilvy & Mather, TDAmeritrade and others.
Prior to launching Giide, Allison founded a talent development consultancy, smith & beta in 2013. smith & beta worked with global clients to assess skillsets and design talent development programs to transform digital capabilities.
She also held the position of Director of Digital Development at Goodby Silverstein & Partners where she designed and launched a ‘school within the agency’ to increase digital literacy for employees and clients. She also held the role of Interactive Development Director at Crispin Porter + Bogusky where she led research and design of a post-graduate school, Boulder Digital Works, with IDEO, Microsoft and the University of Colorado.
Her passion for workplace transformation started the day she joined a small digital agency in Boulder CO (later acquired by CP+B) and was asked to explain complex digital ideas to eager-to-learn clients and co-workers way before the popularity of social media and a mobile phone in every pocket.
She lives in Boulder, CO with her family and three lively cats.
