Based in New York, Heckman drives business operations and overall revenue growth for VCNI’s portfolio of streaming products across all international markets. Heckman has central oversight of new and existing channels and partners including native MVPDs, connected devices and platforms. Working in close partnership with the Emerging Business and Commercial leaders in the clusters, Heckman is focused on leveraging ViacomCBS’s deep local relationships to drive its streaming business forward. Heckman also oversees the company’s overall streaming operations by partnering with the domestic ViacomCBS Digital team to ensure that VCNI delivers on its streaming expansion strategy.
Prior to joining VCNI, Heckman served as Senior Vice President of Digital Partnerships for ViacomCBS Digital, where she successfully led distribution and partnerships for the group’s domestic digital businesses, including streaming services, mobile and connected TV apps, transactional video and emerging products. In that role she worked closely with Apple, Google, Amazon and Roku. Heckman began her tenure at Viacom in 2011 at Viacom International Media Networks, where she managed the company’s multi-million-dollar mobile apps business, with responsibility over long-range strategy, annual budgets and product roadmaps for all apps sold outside the U.S. under the MTV, Nickelodeon, VH1 & Comedy Central brands. Under Heckman’s leadership, the company grew revenues 300 percent in less than two years.
Heckman holds an M.B.A. from the University of Virginia’s Darden School of Business, and a B.A. from the University of Virginia.
