Marc Berman is the founder and Editor-in-Chief for Programming Insider, the online destination and daily email newsletter covering network, digital, cable, syndication and everything media related. Berman is also a senior contributor to Forbes, and has written for a wide range of publications (including CBS Watch, Broadcasting + Cable, Next TV, PromaxBDA, Newspro, Campaign US, Considerable.com, The New York Daily News, The New York Post, The Hollywood Reporter, Variety, Emmy Magazine, and C21 International).
Berman has appeared on “Entertainment Tonight,” “Extra,” “Access Hollywood,” “Inside Edition,” “The CBS Evening News,” E!, CNN, CNBC and MSNBC. And he is a member of The Television Critics Association and The Broadcast Journalists Television Association.
Berman began his career in marketing and research at Katz Media, and worked at Viacom and NBC before seguing into programming at QVC, and rep firm Seltel. He was employed at trade magazine Mediaweek (now Adweek) as the Senior Editor and “Mr. Television” from 1999 to 2011. More recently, Berman was the creator and Editor-in-Chief for online destination and daily email newsletter TV Media Insights at Cross MediaWorks.
Additionally, Berman put his TV historian hat for desk calendar Today in TV History, which he authored in 2013.
