|Bio||Chad Mumm is the VP of Vox Entertainment, Vox Media’s original programming division based in Los Angeles, CA. The full-service production company is dedicated to developing, producing, and marketing longform television, film, and digital properties rooted in Vox Media’s brands: SB Nation, Eater, The Verge, Vox, Curbed, Recode, Racked, and Polygon.
In the fall of 2017, Mumm’s group announced three new original video series: No Passport Required, a series from Eater and PBS hosted by chef Marcus Samuelsson; Divided States of Women, a franchise launched in partnership with Comcast and hosted by reporter Liz Plank; and Foul Play, a true-crime sports documentary series produced with SB Nation in partnership with Verizon’s go90.
Previously, Mumm led Vox Creative, Vox Media’s in-house branded content studio and creative division and, in 2011, launched Vox Studios to produce video content across Vox Media. Before joining Vox Media, Chad oversaw video for AOL Tech and created The Engadget Show. Mumm has been named both one of Forbes 30 Under 30 and one of Variety's 30 Execs to Watch.
