BioJeffrey Weber is the CEO of zone·tv, an exciting new company taking a quantum leap forward in television.

Zone·tv works with some of the largest operators and programmers in the world to deliver the best digital-first content to consumers through a variety of experiences.

Among the more than 40 channels offered by zone·tv, nothing is more exciting than the debut of an entirely new form of television programming: zone·tv Dynamic Channels. This group of 14 individual linear-like TV channels will deliver curated digital-first content that is augmented with artificial intelligence, which provides an unprecedented content package and personalized viewing experience.

Weber, formerly President, Content & Advertising at AT&T U-verse was also responsible for all programming and advertising across AT&T’s TV, mobile, broadband and data segments. Earlier, as Vice President, Video Products, Weber was responsible for video, including TV, multi-screen initiatives and applications. His responsibilities included defining and bringing to market the internet access product line, the programming made available to customers, the electronic program guide (EPG), video on demand (VOD), mobile and broadband content delivery, gaming and other interactive applications. He was also responsible for product development and strategy for the above areas.

Weber led the initial corporate strategy effort that resulted in the deployment and ultimate success of U-verse at AT&T before moving into the product role. He was a key player with U-verse since its launch in 2006, and saw the business grow from no revenue or customers to more than 5M TV subscribers and a $12 billion-plus annual run rate on the platform.

Previous to his role at AT&T, Weber was instrumental growing the internet business at Southwestern Bell. In addition, he held roles in IT, sales, strategy, network operations and marketing addressing products including TV, data, wireless and wireline services. He also launched and grew the second PCS market in the U.S. during his time at Sprint PCS.
