Mina Lefevre

BioMina Lefevre is currently Head of Development & Programming for Facebook’s original content initiative. She is overseeing the development and production of scripted and unscripted shows for Watch on Facebook.

Prior to Facebook, she was Executive Vice President, Head of Scripted at MTV, overseeing all aspects of scripted development. Under her leadership, the scripted department has flourished both in terms of the quality and number of shows. At MTV she doubled the scripted content including shows such as: Faking It, Scream, Finding Carter & The Shannara Chronicles.

Prior to her time at MTV, Mina served as Vice President, Development & Programming at ABC Family – where she was part of the original team that helped launch the channel into the successful top 10 cable network (under Paul Lee). She was the executive who found, developed and oversaw the #1 hit PRETTY LITTLE LIARS. As well as developing and producing several other shows for them that continue to garner ratings success (including THE FOSTERS their #2 show and MELISSA & JOEY their longest running Comedy).

Mina’s years at ABC Family and MTV have allowed her to become incredibly adept at identifying trends especially for the ever sought after millennial audience which she has been targeting for over a decade. She has seen them grow up and has an in depth knowledge of their viewing habits.

Mina is well respected by both writers and agents and a member of HRTS and WIF.

Mina is a graduate of UC Berkeley, where she was a double major receiving BACHELOR OF ARTS in Economics and Integrative Biology.
