|Bio||Wim van Limpt started his career at the Dutch collecting society Buma/Stemra in 2007 at the Members Service Department. From 2012 to 2016 Van Limpt was responsible for Customer Relations and restructuring of the Query Department as director. In this role he was rewarded with the Custom Contact Manager of the Year Award in 2015.
In June 2016 Wim van Limpt was unanimously appointed CEO of Buma/Stemra by the board and the members of Buma/Stemra during the General Assembly. He is also Board Member of SCAN (Service Centre for authors and neighbouring rights), Board Member and vice chairman of the society of organisations that collectively exploit intellectual property, Board Member of the BREIN Foundation, Board Member at Fasttrack and Board Member of the International Contact Center Advisery Board.
Van Limpt’s main goal is restructuring Buma/Stemra to establish a modern collective rights organization that is well equipped to provide added value and excellent customer service in a rapidly changing world. In addition to internal reorganization, disruptive innovation and the principle of continuous improvement form the basis for realizing a future-proof Buma/Stemra. Van Limpt also acts internationally as a keynote speaker about the new eco system for collecting rights societies.
