Greg Henry is co-founder and co-president of Lucky 8 TV, overseeing all production, development and operations for the company. Henry brings to Lucky 8 more than 20 years of experience creating and producing unscripted television and documentary films, having produced over 200 hours of programming across a range of subjects and genres. Henry’s current credits for Lucky 8 include A&E’s groundbreaking 60 Days In – the #1 new unscripted series on cable – and BEHIND BARS: ROOKIE YEAR for A&E, KIDS BBQ CHAMPIONSHIP for Food, THE UNKNOWN FLAG RAISED OF IWO JIMA and ALASKA AIRCRASH INVESTIGATIONS for Smithsonian Channel, and 3 SCIENTISTS WALK INTO A BAR for Weather Channel. Prior to Lucky 8, Henry co-founded Part 2 Pictures where he helmed series including HARD TIME and OFF THE HOOK for Animal Planet, and Oprah Winfrey’s BELIEF for OWN. Henry was also writer and co-director on History’s THE REVOLUTION for Partisan Pictures and has produced various PBS series and long-form documentaries, including four-part series AMERICA’S FIRST RIVER: BILL MOYERS ON THE HUDSON and the weekly PBS program NOW with Bill Moyers. Henry began his career working with renowned documentarian Charles Guggenheim as an editor, collaborating on many films, including the Academy Award-nominated A PLACE IN THE LAND.
