Tomás is the fourth generation of a family that has been always dedicated to TV. His great grandfather, Jaime Yankelevich is considered one of the founders of Argentine TV, and his descendants continued his legacy.
His first steps on TV were in 1996, when he participated editing promotions, producing TA-TA-SHOW and CHIQUITITAS (TINY ANGELS). Then he moved to Los Angeles and graduated at the USC, School of Cinema Television, of LA. Upon his return, he directed the Bandana Movie, VIVIR INTENTANDO which was the most widely seen film of Argentina in 2003, exceeding one million viewers. He has worked as producer, director and screenwriter during the last 9 years. Among his projects and creations we can mention ERREWAY - 4 CAMPIOS” and AMOR MIO LOONEY LOVE. In 2009 he founded the Utopía Cine Production Company, and he produced SUPERTORPE SUPERCLUMSY, the winner of the Martin Fierro Award under the Children/Teen category, for the best 2011 series. He took over as Telefe Programming and Production Director in 2011 and he is currently the Global Contents and International Business Director, also in charge of Programming, International Signals, Production, Digital contents, Ideas and Development and International business management. This makes the integral content generation easier not only for the multiple platforms but also for the different national and international markets, as well as growth opportunities in co-productions and
strategic alliances, allowing Telefe and its contents perform a quality upgrade and advance even further in worldwide distribution. About his artistic knowledge we can mention his potential as an audiovisual content-oriented producer, for films, theater, music and music shows. His management is focused in making Telefe a multi-platform content generator, giving the users diverse high quality innovative products.
