Danny Villa is the head of Development and Production for Hispanic Streaming Group at NBCUniversal Telemundo Enterprises. He oversees production and development for the upcoming Tplus content brand that will super serve the full spectrum of Hispanics on the Peacock streaming platform, including a wide range of scripted and unscripted programming across genres and formats such as true crime, coming of age stories, realities, investigations, documentaries, must-see live events, kids and family programs, world-class sports, news shows and more. He reports directly to Romina Rosado, Executive Vice President and General Manager, Hispanic Streaming Group.
Villa previously launched the non-fiction development company Man vs. Robot, where he developed “Ten Weeks,” a 10-part military-themed documentary series produced by Blumhouse for Roku, as well as the Oxygen true crime series “Florida Man Murders.” He has also held executive and senior director positions at All3Media America, Twofour America Productions, OWN: The Oprah Winfrey Network, Wilmer Valderrama Enterprises and MTV Networks.
Villa is a National Association for Multi-ethnicity in Communications (NAMIC) Luminary Award winner and attended Miami Dade College. He also serves as a TV Academy Reality Peer Group Executive Member.
