Ms. Pope joined Sony Pictures Television as President, Sony Pictures Television Studios in August 2022. In this role, she oversees all U.S. scripted productions, including a wide array of programs for major streaming, cable, and broadcast platforms, such as Better Call Saul, The Good Doctor, The Boys, Cobra Kai, The Blacklist, S.W.A.T., The Goldbergs, Outlander, The Afterparty, For All Mankind, The Wheel of Time, and A League of Their Own, among many others.

Ms. Pope was previously Head of Charter Communications’ Spectrum Originals platform, which she helped to create and launch in 2018. While in this role, she attracted top talent and viewership, built a curated slate, and developed shows including A Spy Among Friends, starring Damian Lewis and Guy Pearce, Beacon 23, starring Lena Headey and Stephan James, and George & Tammy, starring Jessica Chastain and Michael Shannon.  She also greenlit LA’s Finest, starring Gabrielle Union and Jessica Alba, the limited series revival of Mad About You, reuniting Helen Hunt and Paul Reiser, Angela Black, starring Joanne Froggatt, and Joe Pickett, which became Spectrum Originals’ most-watched series ever.  Ms. Pope also Executive Produced, along with Elizabeth Meriwether, the Emmy-nominated Hulu limited series The Dropout, starring Amanda Seyfried. 

Ms. Pope joined Charter after launching new television divisions at Jeff Robinov’s Studio 8 and Peter Chernin’s Twentieth Century Fox-based production company.  As President of Television at Chernin Entertainment, she oversaw all creative development and production for the shingle.  She has been Executive Producer for several Emmy® and Golden Globe®-nominated shows including New Girl, starring Zooey Deschanel. 

Earlier in her career Ms. Pope spent 10 years at NBC/NBC Universal Television Studios where she served in a number of leadership roles including Executive Vice President of the Network and President of the Studio, where she developed hit shows Heroes, Friday Night Lights, 30 Rock, and The Office.  She began her career in network news at CBS and ABC News, producing documentaries and specials. 

Ms. Pope is a member of the Producers Guild of America and the Television Academy.  She lives in Los Angeles with her husband and two children.
