Meg James is an award-winning media reporter for the Los Angeles Times, writing about the entertainment business for two decades. She was the lead reporter for the L.A. Times’ coverage of the deadly shooting on the set of the Alec Baldwin western, “Rust,” in New Mexico — work recognized as a finalist for the 2022 Pulitzer Prize in breaking news. Her specialty is corporate media and television. Meg previously wrote for the Miami Herald and the Palm Beach Post in South Florida. A native of Wyoming, she is a graduate of the University of Colorado and Columbia University. She lives in Los Angeles with her husband, a dentist, and two Boston Terriers.
