Scott Rowe is a highly-regarded communications executive with more than 25 years in global media relations, publicity, and marketing who is known industry-wide for integrity and credibility, along with deep knowledge of corporate communications, business promotion and protection, and program publicity. He has proven expertise in strategic and crisis communications, executive positioning, issues management, community relations, internal communications, corporate spokesmanship, departmental budgeting, and team building. Rowe has specialized skills in pre-sale marketing and post-sale client marketing support, social media marketing, hosting, presenting, interviewing, voice-over, video production, and rebranding.
He currently provides strategic communication, publicity, social media and marketing counsel and execution to a wide-variety of global clients as President, SRowe2000 Media, LLC.
Rowe recently capped a 27-year career at Warner Bros. where he most recently served as Senior Vice President, Communications & Domestic Marketing, Warner Bros. Worldwide Television Marketing responsible for managing all media relations and communications for the Studio’s worldwide television distribution businesses including its executives, marketing and strategic/crisis communications. He also headed up marketing for Warner Bros. Domestic Television Distribution, including pre-sale marketing as well as post-sale client marketing support. In addition, Rowe co-ran the television group’s social media marketing team. He produced the series “Ratings Pop” and “WB Reflections.”
During his career, Rowe has hosted, interviewed and presented live, on video, and by voice-over at several industry conferences and events including having appeared at advertiser and marketing events including serving as the long-time host of perennial PROMAX favorite “State of Our Art,” Rowe has also interviewed industry executives at summits and conferences and has performed voice-overs for several business-related short-form series and sales promos and traveled the country to meet on camera with over a dozen station groupsl.
Rowe previously served in Corporate Communications, Warner Bros. Entertainment Inc., where he was responsible for the Company’s worldwide corporate and business press on the overall Studio, as well as to all of its subsidiaries and affiliate companies. Before joining Corporate Communications, he served as Vice President, Worldwide Television Distribution Publicity, Warner Bros. Television responsible for the trade and business press for Warner Bros.’ syndicated and first-run television business units.
Prior to joining the Studio, Rowe spent seven years at Fox working his way up through the ranks, holding posts in Fox Broadcasting Company’s publicity department and Fox Inc.’s corporate communications office. He began his career in 1986 as a VIP tour guide on the 20th Century Fox Studio lot, while earning a bachelor’s degree in broadcast journalism from California State University at Long Beach.
